How should I ask for a video testimonial?

Some people feel uncomfortable asking for testimonials, so we offer to do this as part of our service. If you would like to ask your customers for testimonials, our guide can help.

Can you ask for testimonials as part of your service?

Yes, you can provide us with a list of customer contact details, and we will approach them on your behalf to request a video testimonial. We will ask you a few questions to help us make a successful request. 

Can you create video testimonials?

We can produce video testimonials based on the stories of willing customers and clients. We don't create fictional testimonials.

How can people be sure testimonials are authentic?

When we conduct an interview to record a video testimonial, we invite the interviewee to express factual statements about themselves and the results they have achieved. Most interviewees are happy for their business contact details to be included in the video. This way, everything they say could be verified by a viewer. Factual information that could be verified is usually accepted as authentic.

How can you produce video testimonials for such a low price?

We record customer interviews using Zoom. Through practice and experience, we capture almost every testimonial in one take and have an efficient process for editing the resulting recording.

Can I choose the questions that you ask in the interview?

Yes, although we advise clients to avoid asking leading questions that direct the interviewee to give specific answers. We have found that gentle nudging and secondary questions, based on what is said, get better results.

How can I commission a video testimonial?

Send an email indicating who you would like to provide your video testimonial(s). You can ask your customers, first, or have us ask them on your behalf. If you would like us to ask them, we will need names, email addresses, and telephone numbers. We follow a polite yet persuasive process, inviting your customers to tell their story.
